Acceptance and scope
These terms describe use of Resin Ledger and its articles, calculators, checklists, downloads, and other materials. Viewing a page does not involve a separate acceptance step.
Informational purpose
Resin Ledger provides general educational information about residential water softeners and related ownership decisions. It is not a water-testing laboratory, licensed plumbing service, medical service, public authority, manufacturer, or substitute for product-specific instructions and qualified professional advice.
Water conditions, plumbing, appliances, household needs, codes, and equipment vary. Verify model-specific procedures with the current manufacturer documentation and use qualified local professionals where safety, sanitation, code compliance, electrical work, pressurized plumbing, drainage, contamination, or uncertainty is involved.
No calculator result, estimate, schedule, or article guarantees a particular water-quality, health, cost, efficiency, or equipment-life outcome.
Potability and health boundary
Water softening does not by itself establish that water is microbiologically or chemically safe to drink. Suspected contamination, unusual odor or color, illness, official advisory, private-well concern, or other health-related issue requires guidance from the appropriate health authority, certified laboratory, water utility, manufacturer, or qualified professional.
Permitted use
You may use the site for lawful personal or internal informational purposes. What is not allowed: probing or disrupting site security, scraping in violation of the rules published at /robots.txt, injecting malicious code, misrepresenting your identity, infringing intellectual property rights, and any other unlawful use. There is no separate acceptable-use policy; these are the rules in force.
Intellectual property and reuse
Original text, figures, calculators, and printable sheets are presented under the Resin Ledger name. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the page they came from, and you may print or save the worksheets for personal or internal use. Systematic copying, republication, or redistribution of the content requires written permission first. Third-party trademarks and materials remain with their respective owners.
User submissions
The site has no upload, comment, or account feature, so there is nothing to submit through it. The only channel is the email address below; messages are used to answer them and for nothing else, and nothing you send is published. Do not send health, financial, credential, or identity information: this site does not ask for it and has no way to protect it.
External links, advertising, and commercial relationships
The site may link to third parties or display advertising. A link or advertisement does not automatically constitute endorsement. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Any affiliate or sponsored relationship must be disclosed clearly and near the relevant recommendation in addition to the site-wide disclosure.
