Scope
This policy describes how the publisher of Resin Ledger ("Resin Ledger," "we," "us," or "our") may collect, use, disclose, and retain information when a person visits resin-ledger.com, contacts us, or uses an interactive tool.

How information may be used
Subject to the verified inventory, information may be used to:
- deliver pages, calculators, downloads, and requested responses;
- maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors;
- understand aggregate site performance;
- maintain consent and privacy preferences;
- display, measure, and limit advertising where enabled;
- meet legal obligations and enforce site terms.
Where a legal basis is required, this is the whole of it. Analytics rests on your consent and on nothing else: it does not load until you allow it, and withdrawing your permission stops it. Serving the pages you asked for, and handling the requests that security depends on, rest on the legitimate interest of running a working site that is not being abused. Answering an email rests on your having sent it. There is no other processing to map, because there is no other processing.

Retention
We keep nothing about you, because there is nothing to keep. Resin Ledger is a set of static files: no database, no accounts, no contact form, and no server of our own. Calculator entries stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere.
What sits outside that is named here rather than glossed over. Cloudflare handles every request at its network edge under its own privacy policy; this deployment enables no log retention and no log export, so no request log ever reaches us. If you allow analytics, Google holds that measurement under the retention setting configured for this Google Analytics property, and you can stop it for the future at any time by withdrawing consent. And if you write to the address published on this site, your message and your email address are held in that mailbox only as long as it takes to answer you.
Security
These are the safeguards actually in place, and the list is short because there is very little to protect. Resin Ledger is static files: no application server, no database, no login, and no administrative interface sits behind it, and nothing of yours is stored here for anyone to take. Pages are served over HTTPS with a certificate provisioned by Cloudflare. No third-party code runs on any page until you allow it, and the build refuses to publish if it finds a script, a network call, or any use of browser storage that has not been declared. Calculator entries never leave your browser.
No site and no transmission over the internet can be promised to be absolutely secure. If you find a security problem, write to contact@resin-ledger.com.
International processing
Resin Ledger is served from Cloudflare's global network, so your request is handled by whichever Cloudflare location is nearest to you, wherever you are. Cloudflare states it stores information primarily in the United States and the European Economic Area.
Those transfers are covered by the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum, version 6.4, effective April 3, 2026, which incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and the Swiss adaptation. We hold no data of our own to transfer.
Privacy rights and choices
The rights available to you depend on where you live, and this is not a list of them by jurisdiction. It is something more useful: what we actually hold.
Because this site keeps no accounts and no records, the honest answer to most requests is that there is nothing of yours here to find, correct, delete, restrict, or hand over. Two things are worth knowing anyway. If you allowed analytics, you can change or withdraw that at any time from the Privacy Choices link in the footer of every page; withdrawing stops future measurement and does not undo what already happened. And if you have written to us, we hold that email, and you can ask us to delete it.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising — there is no advertising on this site at all.

Identity verification and authorized agents: we reply to the address the request came from. There is no account to match you against, and asking for identity documents in order to answer a request about data we do not hold would collect more than it protects.
Appeals, if applicable: if we turn a request down, reply to the same address and say so. A person reads it again and tells you why. Some U.S. state privacy laws also let you complain to your state attorney general.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Children
Resin Ledger is written for adults who own, are buying, or are troubleshooting a home water softener. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
There is very little that could be collected in the first place: no accounts, no forms, no profile of any kind. If you believe a child has sent us something by email, write to contact@resin-ledger.com and we will delete it.

Resin Ledger may link to third-party sites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. A link does not make their practices ours.
Changes
When this policy changes, the Last updated date at the top of this page changes with it. There is no mailing list here to write to, so the page is the notice: if that date is newer than the last time you read this, the text is not the text you read.
The date is not typed in by hand each time and left to drift. The build fingerprints the text you are reading and refuses to publish it if the fingerprint has moved and the date has not.
